Tales of Samurai in Ancient Japan

Japan is an island nation with a long and illustrious history stretching all the way back to ancient times. During this era, samurai were the ruling class of Japan and their tales of courage, valor, loyalty, and strength have been recounted time and time again. Musashi wrote a book called The Book of Five Rings, outlining his philosophy of life and combat and has been studied by martial arts practitioners around the world. He fought in numerous duels and is said to be the winner of one of the longest bouts in Japan's history.
