Todaiji Temple in Nara City is one of Japan’s largest and most important Buddhist temples. The main hall of the temple, the Daibutsu-den, houses the world’s largest bronze statue of Buddha. Constructed in the 8th century, the temple is located in the center of Nara Park and is an iconic image of Japan’s cultural heritage.

Kiyomizu Temple

Kiyomizu Temple, in Kyoto, is one of Japan’s most popular tourist destinations. This Buddhist temple is made up of several buildings, connected by wooden pathways. One of the most iconic features of Kiyomizu Temple is its large wooden stage, which extends out from the main building and overlooks a beautiful view of the city. During the Edo period (1603-1868), the temple was immensely popular and its image has become a symbol of Kyoto.
